Wireless vs Wired

Generally, if it is possible to install cabling we recommend you to do so because the stability and performance over wired networks is superior, however there are often situations where cabling is either not possible or where you would prefer extra flexibility.

• Installation - Installing a wireless LAN system can be fast and easy and can eliminate the need to pull cable through walls and ceilings.
   
• Flexibility - Wireless technology allows the network to go where wire cannot go. For companies with rapidly changing environments that require frequent moves, wireless systems can minimise the long-term installation and re-configuration issues that may be present in a wired network.
   
• Scalability - Wireless network systems can be configured in a variety of ways, and can cope with many users. A wireless network can also be mixed with a wired network to give you best of both worlds.
